Bismarck Public Schools is accepting applications for a teacher for the School Within a School program at Legacy High School. This position is full-time and will begin August 15, 2024.

 

New Teacher Orientation will be held August 6, 7, 13 and 14th.

 

Legacy High School is looking for an individual with expertise/training and/or experience working with students who have behavioral health management needs.  The position would be working in our school within a school program in the behavior and transition center.  Appropriate experiential background may be in school counseling, special education, school social work, or general education.  

 

This position will be open until filled.

 

Qualifications:

1. A valid ND teaching certificate in any secondary core subjects such as social studies, English, science, math, etc. 

2. Bachelor's degree

 

Essential Functions:

Current contracted part-time BPS teachers wanting a full-time position should also complete the external application.

 

Applicants for teaching positions will be asked to complete the EPI Candidate Assessment.  You should receive an email prompting you to complete this survey.  This is timed and takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete.  You only need to complete the survey one time and then it will show as completed on all applications.

A teaching contract is 187 days.  External applicants may bring in up to 15 years of K - 12 teaching experience.
