Bismarck Public Schools is accepting applications from certified elementary teachers for our elementary summer school program, Camp Edventure.
The program will be for students entering 1st through 5th grade. The session starts on May 29 and ends on June 28 with hours from 7:45 am to 1:00 pm each day.
Teachers who teach the full 4.5 weeks will be compensated for 20 hours of preparation time and 4 – 8 hours of training time. Teachers who teach less than 4.5 weeks will receive pro-rated compensation for preparation time and 4 – 8 hours of training time.
These hours will be paid at $30.62 per hour.
All new CampEd teachers are expected to attend a full-day training. Training will be held on Tuesday, May 28th.
Teachers with previous CampEd experience are expected to attend a ½ day training. Training will be held on Tuesday, May 28th.
Qualifications:
A valid ND Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education required.
Salary is determined by placement on the 2023-24 Teacher Salary Schedule. External candidates may bring in up to 15 years of teaching experience.
