Bismarck High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as the Head Boys' Hockey Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring student-athletes, fostering a positive team culture, and developing players' skills both on and off the ice.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive hockey program that aligns with the values and goals of Bismarck High School/Bismarck Public Schools.
2. Plan and execute engaging and effective practice sessions that focus on skill development, strategy, and teamwork.
3. Provide leadership and guidance to student-athletes, promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and academic excellence.
4. Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth and team cohesion.
5. Coordinate with assistant coaches, trainers, and other support staff to ensure the overall success and well-being of the team.
6. Foster positive relationships with parents, alumni, and the broader community to enhance support for the hockey program.
7. Collaborate with school administrators to maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations governing athletics.
8. Represent Bismarck High School/Bismarck Public Schools with professionalism and integrity at all times, both on and off the ice.
9. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance coaching knowledge and skills.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or school administration.

Please note - Coaches who hold a ND teaching license - wages are reportable to the North Dakota Teacher's Fund for Retirement (TFFR).  The employee (coach) will contribute 11.75% of their salary and the District will contribute 12.75%.
