Bismarck Public Schools is accepting applications from certified elementary teachers for our elementary summer school program, Camp Edventure.
The program will be for students entering 1st through 5th grade. The session starts on June 7 and ends on July 19 (no school on July 5) with hours from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm each day. Applicants can apply to teach the entire six weeks, the first three weeks, or the second three weeks.
Teachers who teach six weeks will be compensated for 20 hours of preparation time and 4 – 8 hours of training time. Teachers who teach three weeks will be compensated for 10 hours of preparation time and 4 – 8 hours of training time. These hours will be paid at $27.60 per hour.
All new CampEd teachers are expected to attend a full-day training scheduled for June 3 (8 – 4) at the Career Academy.
All teachers with previous CampEd experience are expected to attend a ½ day training on June 3 (12 – 4) at the Career Academy.
Qualifications:
A valid ND Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education required
Salary is determined by placement on the 2020-21 Teacher Salary Schedule. |
