Bismarck Public Schools is accepting applications for Substitute Teachers.  

Bismarck Public Schools is mandating that all students and staff wear masks when it is not possible to maintain 6 feet of social distancing.

The daily rate of pay for substitute teachers is $130.00 for a full day (7.5. hours) and $65.00 for a half day (anything up to and including 4 hours.)   Bonus pay available after just 10 days of substitute teaching!

The district uses an automated system, Aesop Absence Management, to contact substitute teachers.  This system allows individual substitute teachers a great deal of flexibility in setting their schedules and accepting substitute teaching positions.  Sub teachers can find and accept jobs on the internet or by calling a 1-800 number.  The system also calls substitute teachers i the morning from 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. for jobs available that day.  The system also calls in the afternoon and evening for future jobs.  Substitute teachers also have the option of not receiving phone calls and can set specific times when they prefer the system to contact them.
